NO TEARS IN HEAVEN

Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
Dear friend, there are no tears in Heaven, I’m told.
Have tests and trials caused your heart to grow cold?
You must keep your focus on the task at hand.
Don’t dwell on the past to try to understand.
Avoid despairing thoughts of what might have been,
“Oh, if only this or that. . .”, my friend, ’tis sin.
What’s done, is finished and all in the past.
Don’t let the demon of regret hold you fast.
A broken heart, when given to God, I’ve heard,
Is restored whole again, when bathed in His Word.
He’ll lovingly soothe, and fill you with His peace.
Complete trust in Him, will all your fears release.
Cast on the Almighty GOD, your every care.
Give it ALL to Him, on the wings of your prayer.
He’ll take your heavy load, turn it to pure gold,
Because. . . there are no tears in Heaven, I’m told!
