Thou Art Not Alone.

“I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” John 14: 17-19

Who can hear my cry

In shades of darkness near?

Reaching out for comfort ,

The night brings only tears.

A Voice quietly seems to say,

I hear your call and beckon.

It is I the One who cares.

Your burden – let rest on Me.

Who can heal the hurting ,

When pain is running deep?

And words are falling short,

No peace they bring to keep.

A Voice softly seems to say,

I know your hurt and sadness.

I am here to ease the sorrow.

Your burden – let rest on Me.

I know He hears my cry

His peace is so near.

And if you are hurting

Let Jesus remove your fear.

His voice gently calling,

Alone you shall not be.

“I am here to calm the storm ,

Let your burden rest on Me.”

Thou art not alone.

I am here long – when others leave.

Thou art not alone.

I am here Everlasting – for you eternally.

Your burden let rest on Me.

And know …

Thou art not alone.
